Review Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-25.

This policy explains which reviews we publish on Puerto Rico Experts, how they are moderated and how to report one. Reviews are the opinions of the people who write them, not of Puerto Rico Experts, and they do not replace checking the provider's license or official registry (see the Trust Center).

What a valid review is

Describe your real experience as a client, patient or visitor: what happened, when and how you were treated. It is not a place for opinions about third parties or rumors.

How reviews are moderated

Moderation is 100% manual: a person reads every review and nothing is published automatically. Internal statuses are: pending, approved, rejected and needs more information; only approved reviews are shown. Good and bad reviews are judged by the same criteria. We do not import reviews from other sites. Your email is requested for moderation and is not published; your name is shown as you type it.

What we do not publish

Conflicts of interest

If you are an owner, employee, relative or competitor of the business, you must say so in your comment; those reviews are reviewed separately and are normally not published. Owners of a claimed listing reply to reviews; they do not write reviews of their own business.

Incentives

No business may offer payment, discounts or other benefits in exchange for a review, or ask only for positive ones. Neither do we. When we ask for a review we use neutral wording and do not ask for a particular rating.

Right of reply

A business with a claimed and verified listing may send one public reply per review. A person on our team reviews it before it is published (edits too) and it is shown labeled “Business response” with the date. Claiming a listing does not allow editing or deleting reviews.

Ratings

We show the average and the count only when there are real approved reviews; there is no rating without reviews.

How to report a review

Write to hola@puertoricoexperts.com with the review link and the reason. We review it and reply; if appropriate, we remove it and keep an internal record. To correct listing data, use the corrections page.
