Puerto Rico Experts wants everyone to be able to use the directory, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, zoom or high contrast.
Our commitment
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA as our standard. This includes: alternative text on informative images, form labels, visible focus, and heading structure that screen readers can follow. This is an ongoing goal, not a certification.
What we do today
- Keyboard: the site includes a skip-to-content link, visible focus and form labels. We have not done a full keyboard-only test.
- Screen reader: headings, landmarks and labels are marked for assistive technology.
- Contrast and zoom: we use a high-contrast palette and responsive design, but we have not measured 4.5:1 contrast on every page nor tested 200% zoom.
- Forms: listing claims, reviews and contact have visible labels.
Known limitations
Embedded Google maps depend on a third-party service; we provide the address as text on each listing. If you hit a barrier, report it and we will address it.
Report an accessibility problem
Email us at hola@puertoricoexperts.com with the subject "Accessibility", telling us the page and what happened (for example, which screen reader or browser you use). We respond and fix what is in our hands.
