What you get

Logo and description

You submit them, we review them, and they appear on your listing as content from the business.

Sponsored placement

Plan Local: first in your town and category. Plan Isla: top of your category island-wide and on the homepage. Always labeled Sponsored.

Newsletter mention

We include you in our newsletter, in English and Spanish.

Founding-member price: the first 50 businesses pay less and keep that price for 12 months. Annual billing: 2 months free.

60 days free: the first 20 businesses that subscribe to Plan Local or Plan Isla on monthly founding billing pay nothing for the first 60 days (one trial per listing). We ask for a card when you subscribe, but nothing is charged during the trial. When it ends, the founding price is charged every month ($39/mo Plan Local, $69/mo Plan Isla, locked for 12 months) until you cancel. Stripe emails you a reminder 7 days before the trial ends, and we email you again 3 days before with the amount and a cancel link. During the trial you can see your listing's calls and clicks in your owner area. Cancel online, no phone call needed, from your subscription link or the link in that email; cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.

Why advertise

People who search here are already looking to hire in Puerto Rico. A claimed listing keeps your details right, and a plan puts your business first in its category and town.

Advertising is generally deductible

Advertising and marketing for your business, such as a paid directory plan, is generally deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. In Puerto Rico this comes from the Internal Revenue Code of 2011, Section 1033.01(a). For U.S. federal taxes, IRS regulations list advertising among business expenses (26 CFR 1.162-1; Publication 334).

This is general information, not tax advice. Every situation is different: ask your accountant or CPA before claiming a deduction.

First we confirm the business is yours: before you pay, we send a one-time code to an email on the business's official website domain (for example, name@company.com; Gmail or Outlook do not qualify). Checkout only opens after that check, and the plan applies only to that listing.

No email on the domain? Request manual verification; a person reviews it before any charge.
